CRAYON FIELDS son uno de esos grupos que te dejan huella, que te sorprenden poniéndote la piel de gallina cuando los escuchas, y no te explicas por qué no son más conocidos. Son un grupo de Melbourne, uno de los descubrimientos que más me han fascinado en los últimos meses, y es que demuestran tener una habilidad asombrosa para escribir exquisitas gemas del indiepop más valioso, con melodías redondas y un sonido cristalino de guitarras, un cruce entre Bryan Ferry, THE CLIENTELE y THE LADYBUG TRANSISTOR. Tienen una inspiración y un talento magníficos, consiguiendo dar con la siempre ansiada canción perfecta. Una producción pulcra y cristalina viste sus melodías aterciopeladas, en las que cuando menos te lo esperas surgen unos coros angelicales para volverte loco. Aquí tenemos diez canciones de una belleza realmente estremecedora.
